SCALLOPED POTATOES


  • Slice the poatoes into a pan almost cover with milk
  • Heat until starch starts coming out of the potatoes
    • They will begin to thicken in about 10 minutes
  • Layer the potatoes in a baking dish with slices of processed cheese, diced
  • Make 2 layers, dot each layer with butter
  • Bake, covered in a 300 oven for 45 minutes
  • Then uncoer for 10 mintues so the top browns
