RICE KRISPIES SQUARES

• Original Recipe:
• 1 pkg. (10 oz. about 40) regular marshmallows
• or 4 cups minature marhmellows
• 6 Cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal
• 1/4 Cup margarine
• 1. Melt margarine in a large saucepan over
• low heat. Add marshmallow and stir until
• completely melted. Remove from heat.
• 2. Add Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal. Stir
• until well coated.
• 3. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper,
• press mixture evenly into 13 x 9 x 2-inch
• pan coated with cooking spray or
• margarine. Cut into squares when cool.
• YIELD: 24 treats, 2 x 2 inch squares.

TRY THESE

• PEANUT BUTTER -Add 1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter to melted marshmallow mixture at step 1.
• CHOCOLATE CHIP - Add Chocolate Chips, Reeses Pieces, etc. to mixture at step 1.
• CARAMEL - Add 1/3 cup caramel ice cream topping to mixture at step 1
• TROPICAL - Sprinkle 1 cup of chopped mixed dried fruit in to bottom of pan. Press cereal on top.
• ICE CREAM - Slice and split each 2 x 2 square in half. Spoon your favorite flavor ice cream in between the square. Wrap in saran wrap & freeze. These wont last long.

POP CORN BALL TREATS

• Prepare same as above only use 6 Cups of Popped Popcorn at step 2.
• Spoon out the popcorn on wax paper.
• Butter hands and shape into balls.
