Melt chocolate in a double boiler. Perch two marshmallows onto each stick, then dip them into the chocolate until each marshmallow is completely coated. Lay them on wax paper until they reach room temperature.
Crushed nuts, sprinkles, M&M's or coconut can be sprinkled on each candy stick before the chocolate dries for a special, festive look.
NOTE: Give these with some store-bought or homemade hot chocolate mix, along with a note to stir the marshmallow sticks in the hot chocolate.
