CAKES

CHOCOLATE CAKE

• 3/4 C. Butter
• 2 C. Sugar
• 2 Eggs
• 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
• 1 C. Sour Milk
• 2 1/2 C. Flour
• 2 tsp. Soda
• 1/2 C. Cocoa
• pinch salt
• 1 C. Boiling Water
• Cream butter, sugar add eggs one at atime.
• Beat well.
• Add vanilla to milk
• Sift flour, soda, salt and cocoa together.
• Add alternately with milk.
• Pour in boiling water all at once and stir.
• Bake 350 - 30 min.
