CAKES BANANA NUT CAKE Measure into sifter: 2 C. Flour 1 tsp. Baking Powder 1 tsp. Soda 3/4 tsp. Salt 1 1/3 C. Sugar Measure into Bowl: 1/2 C. Shortening Measure into Cup: 1/2 C. Sour Milk 1 tsp. Vanilla Have Ready: 1 C. Mashed Banana 2 Eggs Nuts Stir shortening and dry ingredients. Add 1/4 C. milk and the bananas and mix until all until all flour is dampened. Add eggs and nuts and remaining milk. Bake in moderate oven about 25 min.
