BREADS Bubble Bread 1 C. Milk 1 Tsp Salt 1/2 C. Sugar 1/4 C. Shortening 1 beaten Egg 3 1/2 - 3 3/4 C. Flour Scald milk and add 1/2 C. Sugar, salt & shortening, when lukewarm add yeast and stir until dissolved. Stir in egg. Add flour in 2 parts first mixing by spoon then by hand Turn dough on lightly floured board Cover and let stand 10 minutes Knead until smooth and elastic. Place in grease bowl, cover with damp cloath and set to rise until double in bulk Punch down rise again Let rest 15 minutes Form balls and roll in butter and cinnamon-sugar Place in Angel Food cake pan. let rise Bake 35 - 50 minutes at 375
