BREADS Home Made Bread 1 pkg. Yeast 1 Tbsp Salt 1/2 C. Warm Water 2 Tbsp. Shortening 1 3/4 C. Warm Liquid* 4 C. + 3 3/4 C. Flour 3 Tbsp. Sugar Dissolve yeast in water. Add all remaining ingredients except last part of flour. BEAT Add remaining flour. Knead for 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl Cover - let raise 1 to 2 hours. Punch down Raise 45 - 60 minutes Put in 2 loaf pans. Let rise 50-60 minutes Bake 425 - 25 - 30 min * Milkd should be scalded then cooled
