SUMMER SAUSAGE

  • 5 lbs. Hamburger
  • 5 tsp Quick curing Salt-Morton's Tender
  • 2 1/2 tsp. Mustard Seed
  • 2 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
  • 2 1/2 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Hickory Smoke Salt
  • 2 Tbsp Onion Flakes
  • 1 Tbsp Dill Seed (NOT WEED)
  • Mix well and refrigerate 3 days.
  • Mix well each day, like kneading bread.
  • On 4th day make 3 rolls (Mom makes 5 rolls)
  • Bake 8 hours at 200 on broiler pan on low rake. Keep a little water in pan.
